Hi, I’m Katarzyna Suska – an Engineering Excellence Lead, IT Delivery Manager, Agile Coach, and curious human being who believes that work doesn’t have to feel like a life sentence.
Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of technology, leadership, and culture, helping engineering teams deliver better software, grow stronger together, and build practices that truly support quality and sustainability. From agile coaching to managing large-scale deliveries in regulated environments, my focus has always been on people, trust, and continuous improvement.
I’m especially passionate about mentoring — both inside my organization, where I help shape internal programs at HSBC, and in the broader tech community. I’ve had the privilege to learn as a mentee (shoutout to Mentors4Starters) and now have the joy of giving back — most recently as a mentor at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit.
In 2024, I published my first book:
“Praca to (nie) wyrok” – a candid, humorous, and practical guide on how to make work a little more human (and a lot less painful).
It’s for anyone who’s ever thought: there has to be more to this than endless meetings and KPIs. Spoiler: there is.
When I’m not writing, coaching, you’ll find me reading, learning Italian — slowly but joyfully, or working on my own IT projects.
I’m the founder of Round the Corner, a side project and local community app that helps neighbours connect, share, and co-create better neighbourhoods — one conversation at a time.
I just released my (buggy) MVP on Android and I’m finishing iOS version.

This blog is a space for thoughts on leadership, tech, culture, (real) agility, and the messy, meaningful stuff that happens when we try to do work that matters.

Gra o motywację zespołu
It’s quite natural that each of your team members’ motivation is on a different level. As Agile Coaches or Team Managers, we often work individually with each and every one of them to conclude what’s missing, what more do they need to work effectively and with enthusiasm. But what when the whole team signalise that they have motivation issues?
My article in Magazyn Programista can help you to discover what impacts your team motivation and how as a group you can start working on improvements.

Sztuka udzielania feedbacku
I wrote this article inspired by the idea of using GROW as a feedback model.
GROW used as a coaching method helps the coachee to understand the broad context of its current situation and reflect on its own behaviour.
In my article, I describe a few simple ways of giving feedback; the “sandwich model”, more complicated “Z-FUKO-PZK” model, which is an extension of “FUKO” method and a GROW feedback model.

Team Health Monitor.
Team Health Monitor is an interesting tool that I discovered at Richard Branson’s’ “Virgin Distuptrors” conference in London. This tool helps you to assess the areas of improvement for your team and the attached playbook helps you to tackle and overcome the challenge.
